PGN Saka’s PASTI BERSIH and PANTAS PANDAI Programs Win Nusantara Awards 2024

Saka Indonesia Pangkah Limited, a subsidiary of PGN Saka and an affiliate of PGN Subholding Gas Pertamina, received three Nusantara CSR Awards on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. The awards were given for the PASTI BERSIH (Provision of Clean Water Facilities) program, the PANTAS PANDAI (Reduction and Utilization of Non-Hazardous Waste in Onshore Processing Facilities) program, and an award for Medy Kurniawan as President Director of PGN Saka.

 

PASTI BERSIH program received a score of 9.2 in the Clean Water and Proper Sanitation category, while the PANTAS PANDAI program scored 8.8 in the Responsible Consumption and Production category. Additionally, Medy Kurniawan received an award for Leadership in Sustainable Business Transformation.

 

PGN Saka remains committed to contributing positively to the environment and empowering communities surrounding its operational areas. The PASTI BERSIH initiative, launched by PGN Saka, aims to provide adequate access to sanitation and clean water in the Manyar and Ujungpangkah districts of Gresik Regency through a community-based management model. This initiative involves planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation in collaboration with the Association of Drinking Water Users (HIPPAM).

 

Similarly, the PANTAS PANDAI program, initiated by PGN Saka, is part of the company’s corporate social and environmental responsibility efforts. It focuses on reducing and utilizing non-hazardous waste as part of the company’s commitment to active participation in waste management programs. This program is designed to minimize waste production, maximize waste utilization, and significantly contribute to the empowerment of the surrounding communities.

 

Both programs were developed and implemented by PGN Saka not only as a demonstration of their commitment but also as an example of sustainable business practices.
