PGN Saka realizes that the Company’s business operations contain potential security risks, both from threats, challenges, obstacles, disturbances, and crimes around the work area. For this reason, PGN Saka fosters full awareness of all levels of the Company’s organization regarding safe operations.
PGN Saka implements Security Risk Assessment and Security Stakeholder Mapping in order to establish a reliable security management system and improve security configuration. This implementation applies to all work areas, both onshore and offshore, as well as our working area development. PGN Saka also implements a 24-hour standguard and conducts regular security patrols to secure employees, operational activities, movable and immovable material assets, as well as areas of national vital objects.
As of today, PGN Saka did not experience any security disturbances and crimes that may delay the upstream oil and gas business processes. This achievement was fulfilled due to the integrated preemptive and preventive measures by the Company, both internally and externally.
PGN Saka’s security performance also received recognition from external parties. One of PGN Saka’s subsidiaries, Saka Indonesia Pangkah Limited (SIPL), successfully obtained a Security Management System certificate “GOLD Reward” in accordance with Republic of Indonesia Police Regulation No. 7 of 2019 after going through a series of audits from the National Police Headquarters Auditor Team.
