Decarbonization

PGN Saka’s Decarbonization Program as a response to climate change has become one of the ESG initiatives and supports Pertamina’s 2030 Decarbonization Program targets. The Decarbonization Program initiatives that have been, are being and will be carried out by the Company are as follows:

1. Use more efficient equipment (Efficiency of Energy Intensity)
2. Reduction of emissions from processes/fugitives (Non-routine emission); Zero routine flaring, utilization of flare gas, monitoring and reducing fugitive emissions. 
3. Use low carbon sources energy (Low Carbon Power); Solar photovoltaic installation
4. Reducing emissions from combustion (Low Carbon Heat); Substitution of fuel (fuel oil/diesel) to gas and/or biomass fuel
