Our Concern
Process Safety
Aligned with Company HSSE Policy, Company strives for the highest standard of
occupational health and safety and, more importantly, focuses on continual
improvement in process safety, with a vision to “Always prioritizing safety, health, and
environment on and outside the job.” Thus, Company Management has decided to
formalize the implementation of the Process Safety Management (PSM) system in all
Company operations. PSM is a systematic approach to enable proactive identification,
evaluation, and mitigation or prevention of unwanted chemical/energy releases due
to failures in processes, procedures, or equipment. It is a disciplined framework for
managing the integrity of hazardous operating systems and processes by applying
sound design principles, engineering, and operational practices.
Company PSM Manual incorporates four main accident prevention pillars which are:
1. Complying with Regulations and Standards
2. Understand & Communicate Process Safety Risk
3. Operate & Maintain Plant Integrity
4. Learning from Experience
In addition, each pillar in Company PSM Manual consists of several PSM Elements,
which will be a prime driver to improve its process safety effectiveness, reduce the
frequency and severity of incidents, and improve its long-term safety, environmental,
and business performance in the Company organization. Implementation of the PSM
System in the Company is mandated by HSSE Policy which emphasizes Company
commitment to managing both occupational safety and process safety aspects in
Company operations to avoid Major Accident Events (MAE), thus ensuring safe,
profitable, reliable, and sustainable operations
