In 2019, PT Saka Energi Indonesia faced global and national economic challenges marked by a slowdown, coupled with political instability due to concurrent elections. However, the company remained committed to providing quality energy for the Indonesian people. By implementing the Six-Point Plan strategy, SAKA successfully strengthened synergies with stakeholders, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced corporate governance. Despite challenging industry conditions, SAKA continued to demonstrate solid performance by extending the Pangkah Block contract until 2046 and implementing new technologies to boost production. Commitment to occupational safety and sustainability also remained top priorities, as evidenced by achieving zero fatalities throughout the year.
