PT Saka Energi Indonesia (PGN Saka), an upstream oil and gas company and part of Pertamina’s Gas Subholding, has once again achieved recognition in the field of Occupational Health and Safety. Through its entity, Saka Indonesia Pangkah Limited (SIPL), PGN Saka received two awards at the 2026 WSO Indonesia Safety Culture Award (WISCA), organized by World Safety Organization Indonesia.
At the event, PGN Saka received the “Concerned Company” award and achieved the “5 Star Platinum” category, the highest level in the generative safety culture maturity assessment program. This marked the third time PGN Saka had achieved the “5 Star Platinum” rating since 2024. The awards were presented directly to Achmad Agus Miftakhurrohman, Director of Operations of PGN Saka and General Manager of SIPL, during the event held at Hotel Bidakara, Jakarta, on Friday, May 8, 2026.
“This achievement is the result of the commitment and consistency of all PGN Saka Perwira in implementing HSSE across every operational activity. For us, safety is not merely a priority, but a culture that we continuously strengthen,” said Intan Fauzi, President Director of PGN Saka.
The awards were achieved following a rigorous HSSE document verification process, including interviews and presentations of the company’s flagship Safety Culture programs by PGN Saka’s Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Team to the verification team from WSO Indonesia.
On this occasion, PGN Saka received the “Concerned Company” award for the first time. The award is presented to companies that demonstrate a high level of commitment to developing a strong occupational safety culture in the workplace. This achievement reflects the company’s continued commitment to implementing HSSE principles consistently and sustainably.
“At PGN Saka, HSSE is a shared responsibility. This award motivates us to continue contributing actively to building a consistent and impactful safety culture, both internally and across the upstream oil and gas industry,” added Achmad Agus.
This achievement also marks PGN Saka’s consistency in receiving WISCA recognition for five consecutive years since 2022. It reflects the company’s continuous efforts to build and maintain a strong safety culture as an integral part of its operational performance.
WISCA is an award program that recognizes companies considered successful in effectively implementing occupational health and safety principles and embedding them into their corporate culture. Through this program, WSO Indonesia encourages industry players to continuously improve the maturity of their workplace safety culture.
Through this achievement, PGN Saka once again reinforces its commitment to implementing disciplined, reliable, and sustainable HSSE practices as a key priority in ensuring safe, compliant, and operationally excellent performance across all of the company’s working areas.
