PT Saka Energi Indonesia (PGN Saka) has once again received recognition for its consistent implementation of Community Development Programs (PPM). Two PGN Saka entities, Saka Energi Muriah Limited (SEML) and Saka Indonesia Pangkah Limited (SIPL), each received awards from academic institutions and local government. These achievements reaffirm PGN Saka’s commitment to environmental conservation, social responsibility, and community empowerment across its operational areas.
On November 11, 2025, SEML won second place in the Industry Impact on Environmental Conservation category at the 2025 UNNES Innovation Award. The award was received directly by Purwanto Nugroho, PGN Saka’s Stakeholder Relations Manager. At the same event, two SEML-supported Local Heroes, Ir. Sukarno from Tluwuk Village and Minannur Rohman from Karangharjo Village, were also recognized as Most Innovative Village Figures in acknowledgment of their contributions to village development.
Meanwhile, on November 17, 2025, SIPL received an award certificate as The Most Committed Corporate to Economic and Community Empowerment, Infrastructure, Environment, Health, and Education. The award was presented directly by Gresik Regent Fandi Akhmad Yani during the Gresik Regency Musrenbang and CSR Award 2025, which carried the theme “CSR Innovation Program for Sustainable Development Growth”.
The event also discussed development priorities for the upcoming fiscal year, including Village Development Work Plan proposals and other strategic programs that are priorities of the Gresik Regency Government.
“This award reflects PGN Saka’s consistency in carrying out its environmental and social responsibilities in a measurable and sustainable manner. We will continue to ensure that every program delivers direct benefits to the environment and local communities,” said Purwanto Nugroho, Stakeholder Relations Manager of PGN Saka.
The awards represent recognition of the collaboration and commitment between PGN Saka and its stakeholders in creating value and tangible impact for local communities.
