Saka Energi Indonesia (Saka Energi), an affiliate of PGN Subholding Gas Pertamina, won third place in the Revenue Generation category of the BUMN Technology Adaptation Award at the 2024 Forum Digital BUMN (FORDIGI) Summit through its iSquare Digital Twin Initiative. SAKA also represented Pertamina Group at the event. The event was held at the Ballroom of Hotel Mulia Senayan on September 26, 2024. Yudi Syahnur, IT Specialist – Information Management System, attended as SAKA representative and presented the technology innovation that has been implemented at Saka Indonesia Pangkah Limited.
The award was presented by Tedi Bharata, Deputy for Human Resources, Technology, and Information at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, to Yoke Susatyo, SVP Enterprise IT at Pertamina, as Pertamina’s representative. The iSquare Digital Twin Initiative is a technology designed to visualize and collect real-time data through remote monitoring. It also serves as a digital replica of SAKA oil and gas production facilities, helping support more effective and efficient operations.
“Pertamina submitted 10 digital initiatives from various Subholdings. After going through the jury’s selection process, SAKA iSquare Digital Twin from the Gas Subholding was selected as the only representative of Pertamina Group and was named among the 15 initiatives that advanced to the final round from across all state-owned enterprises,” said Adrianto Nafis, SAKA IT & Data Management Manager.
This year’s FORDIGI Summit aimed to promote the learning and adoption of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), while helping industry players address future challenges. The implementation of the iSquare Digital Twin provides added value, particularly in improving work effectiveness and efficiency by minimizing the potential for rework, supporting stronger HSSE performance, and reducing the frequency of non-urgent site visits. In addition, the technology implemented at SAKA also contributes to Pertamina’s operational efficiency and supports the development of engineering platforms within upstream oil and gas business processes.
“SAKA continues to develop innovations to optimize facilities and technology in carrying out the company’s business processes, including through the implementation of the iSquare Digital Twin innovation,” said Medy Kurniawan, President Director of SAKA.
