Saka Energi Indonesia (Saka Energi), an affiliate of PGN Subholding Gas Pertamina, through Saka Indonesia Pangkah Limited, received the 2024 Dharma Karya Energy and Mineral Resources Award in the MUDA category for its innovation in optimizing LPG production through the installation of an LPG Plant Recycle Line at the LPG Processing Facility (LPGF), located within the Onshore Processing Facility (OPF) in Gresik. The award was presented by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), with the PC-PROVE SIPLAH Team representing SAKA in receiving the recognition for the innovation.
The event was attended by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia Bahlil Lahadalia at the National Monument grounds, coinciding with the commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of Mining and Energy on Thursday, October 10, 2024. The Dharma Karya Award is a form of recognition from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for individuals, groups, and institutions that have contributed innovative ideas with significant impact on national development, particularly in the energy and mineral resources sector.
“The Dharma Karya Award is presented to motivate individuals and professionals in the energy and mineral resources sector to continue creating and delivering their best contributions for the nation,” said Bahlil.
Previously, the PC-PROVE SIPLAH Team participated in the 2023 PGN Innovation Award and earned a Gold rating. The team subsequently received the Bronze Category award at the 2024 Annual Pertamina Quality Awards. Following these achievements, SAKA was given the opportunity by PGN to represent the Gas Subholding in the Dharma Karya Award selection process alongside two other representatives.
After undergoing a series of selection stages, including proposal submission, presentation, assessment, site visits, and verification by ESDM experts and relevant academics, SAKA innovation was deemed eligible to receive the 2024 Dharma Karya Energy and Mineral Resources Award in the MUDA category.
